The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts a state level examination for undergraduate level medical and dental courses offered by the colleges in the state of Bihar.

The aspiring candidates for this examination must have passed XII board examinations and must have also studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates who are studying in XII are also eligible to apply for the examination. The candidates applying to appear for the examination must have attained 17 years of age as on 31st December 2015.

The BCECE Medical exam comprises of two stages which are as follows:

First stage

The first stage of the BCECE medical 2015 exams consists of 200 questions which are divided into three sections which are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each section carries 50 marks each. A total of 150 questions will be there in the question paper, each carrying 4 marks.

Second stage

The second stage comprises of three separate papers for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each paper will have 100 questions. The candidate will be awarded 4 marks for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

To apply for the examination, the candidates must register themselves on the official website by going online. The candidates must then fill an online application. The candidates must also make the payment for the examination which can be done through both online and offline modes. After making the payment, the candidate must send the completely filled application form via registered/speed post to the Controller of Examination, B.C.E.C.E. Board, I.A.S. Association Building, Near Patna Airport, P.O.-B.V.College, Patna-800014.

The application fee for the BCECE Medical exam 2015 is INR 600 which can be paid by downloading a bank challan and remitting it in any branch of Canara Bank along with a bank transaction fee of INR 50 or the payment can also be done through the use of credit card/debit card or net banking. For the candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories, the application fee is INR 300.

The candidates can access the admit card that contains the applicants name, roll number, exam center and examination instructions by visiting the official website. The admit cards will be uploaded by the examination conducting institution on their website.
