The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa conducts a state level entrance exam to facilitate the admission process in medical courses like MBBS and BDS offered at Goa Medical College and Goa Dental College called the Goa Common Entrance Test Medical (GCET Medical). The selection for about 150 medical seats and nearly 40 dental seats will be done through this test.

The candidates can get the application form from the designated application reception centers. The availability of application will start from the third week of March 2015. The submission of application must be done by the second week of April 2015 or latest by the last week of April 2015 to the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) with the payment of the application form.
The GCET Medical exam will have the duration of 2 hours and the question paper will contain objective type multiple choice questions from three subjects which are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidate will be awarded 1 mark for every right answer and negative marking shall not be done.
The candidates have to come in person to receive the admit cards as it will only be issued to the candidates in person. The candidate will receive the admit card on the same day of submission of the application form.
The declaration of the GCET Medical exam will most likely take place in the third week of May 2015.
The shortlisting of candidates will take place on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the GCET Medical exam.
