Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, conducts an undergraduate level entrance exam for the admission process of MBBS courses offered by the Medical Colleges affiliated to it. This is a nationally conducted medical entrance exam. The selection of candidates for about 300 MBBS seats and 300 BDS seats are done through with this test.

The aspiring candidates for this examination must have passed XII board examinations and must have also studied Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology. The candidates applying for the exam must have scored an aggregate of not less than 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together. The candidates who are studying in XII are also eligible to apply for the examination. 

The question paper for the BVP CET MBBS exam will contain 200 question which can be further divided as Physics and Chemistry with 50 questions each and biology with 100 questions. The candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the examination.

For the counselling process the candidates will be called in on the basis of the marks scored in the BVP CET Medical Examination.

The application form for the BVP CET Medical examination can be done through both online and offline modes. The candidates must also make the payment for the application form which can be done through drawing a demand draft for the offline application or through Demand draft/payment gateway for the online applications.
