KLE University, Belgam, Karnataka, conducts a national level entrance examination called the KLE University All India Entrance Test to facilitate the admission procedure for medical courses like MBBS and BDS offered by it.

The aspiring candidates for this examination must have passed XII board examinations and must have also studied Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology. The candidates applying for the exam must have scored an aggregate of not less than 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and a minimum of 50% marks in English as well. The candidates who are studying in XII are also eligible to apply for the examination. The candidates applying to appear for the examination must have attained 17 years as on 31st December 2015 and the candidates above the age of 25 are not eligible for this examination.
The syllabus will be the same as that followed in the HSC level and candidates can also get the syllabus by visiting the official website. The question paper for the KLEU AIET will contain a total of 200 question which shall come from four subjects which are Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. 50 questions will be there from each topic which are Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. For every right answer, the candidate will be awarded 1 mark and negative marking scheme is not followed in this test. The candidates are given 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete the whole test.
For the counselling process the candidates will be called in on the basis of the marks scored in the KLEU AIET. A merit list of the candidates will be published on the basis of the scores they’ve obtained in the KLEU AIET. The candidates will be called for counselling sessions and allotted seats on the basis of their ranks.
