The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts an entrance exam called the EAMCET Medical exam which aims to facilitate admission procedure for undergraduate level medical courses like MBBS and BDS offered by the Universities and Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

The aspiring candidates for this examination must have passed XII board examinations and must have also studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology)/Biotechnology. The candidates applying for the exam must have scored an aggregate of not less than 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together. The candidates who are studying in XII are also eligible to apply for the examination. The minimum percentage requirement for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC of the Karnataka state is 40%. The candidates applying for this examination must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2015.
In the EAMCET Medical exam, the questions will essentially be from three subjects which are Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Biology. 160 questions will be asked in the EAMCET Medical entrance exam from the above mentioned subjects. The candidate will be awarded 4 marks for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The examination authority shall declare the application procedure very soon. The application forms for the EAMCET Medical examination will be available online. The submission of the forms will be done through online mode along with all the required documents.
The admit card can be downloaded by candidates from the official website. Towards the second week of April 2015, the admit cards for EAMCET Medical 2015, containing the details of the candidates like their name, roll number, exam center, time and examination instructions, will be made available on the website.
The declaration of the EAMCET Medical 2015 exam will most likely be declared by the first week of June 2015. This result will be the basis of preparation of the merit list as well as the final calls for the counseling process. The declaration of results will be done only for the candidates who’ve qualified the examination.
As per the rankings in the merit list created after the declaration of the EAMCET Medical exam results, the candidates will be called in for counseling as well as allotted the seats in Medical and Dental Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
