ASSO-CET PG Medical
A national level examination is conducted by the Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Maharashtra (AMUPMDC), for the admission to post graduate level medical and dental courses offered by the unaided Private medical and dental colleges of Maharashtra called the ASSO PG CET. The selection of candidates for about 251 Dental seats and 61 MD/MS/Diploma seats is done through this test.

The candidates who want to apply for this examination must have a citizenship of India and must also have passed the MBBS/BDS degree from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI). The candidate must have also completed one year of compulsory rotating internship.
The ASSO CET PG exam will be conducted in Mumbai. The papers for Dental and medical exams are different which are ASSO CET APGM and ASSO CET APGD. The duration of APGM CET 2015 exam will be 3 and a half hours and the duration of APGD CET 2015 exam will be 1 and a half hour. The number of questions in APGM CET 2015 will be 300 multiple choice questions and APGD CET 2015 will have 100 multiple choice questions. The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every right answer and no negative marking will be done.
The application form for the ASSO CET PG will start from 5th January 2015. The application can only be filled through online mode. The submission of applications will continue till 24th January 2015. The candidates must also make the payment for the application fee through computer generated challan of designated bank. The application fee is INR 3000.
The admit card can be downloaded from the official website. Towards the first week of January 2015, the admit cards for ASSO CET PG 2015, containing the details of the candidates like their name, roll number, exam center, time and examination instructions, will be made available on the website. The candidates will not be sent the admit cards through post.
The declaration of results will only be done for the candidates who’ve qualified the entrance exam. The candidates belonging to the general category must score more than 50% to qualify and the candidates belonging to the reserved categories must score more than 40% to qualify.
A merit list will created on the basis of the marks scored by the students in entrance exam. The declaration of results will be done only for the candidates who’ve qualified the exam. Based on the ranks of the candidates in the merit list, the allotment of seats will be done.
