A state level entrance exam is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala, in the state of Kerala, to facilitate the admission process to various post graduate medial courses offered by government as well as private medical institutes/colleges in Kerala. The selection of candidates for about 337 seats for postgraduate medical programs like MD, MS and other diploma programs.

The candidates applying for the Kerala PG Medical must have an MBBS degree of any of the Universities in Kerala or any other University recognized by KUHS as equivalent. The compulsory internship must also be completed by the candidate to stand eligible by 31st March 2015. The candidate must be a citizen of India and must also have an origin from Kerala. The criteria regarding the age and other eligibility related information can be seen by the candidates on the official website of CEE, Kerala.

The Kerala PG Medical entrance examination will be conducted on 8th February 2015. The examination will consist of two separate papers. The duration for each paper will be two hours. Each paper will consist of a total of 150 multiple choice questions.

The applications for the Kerala PG Medical examination will be available from 20th December 2015 to 5th January 2015. The candidates must fill up the form correctly and send it to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram — 695 001 by 5th January 2015. This can be done either by registered or speed post. The candidate must also make the payment for the application fee which can be done either by remitting a challan with a printed application form at any branches of State Bank of Travancore (for the candidates residing in Kerala) or by way of a demand draft drawn in favor of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

The service quota candidates seeking admission in the general category seats must make a payment of INR 1000 extra.

The admit card containing the details of the candidates like their name, roll number, exam center, time and examination instructions, will be made available on the official website. The candidates can download it from the website. The dates for downloading the admit cards shall be announced by the examination conducting authority.

To be selected the candidates must first qualify the Kerala PG Medical entrance test. The qualifying marks for students from different categories are mentioned below:

Service Quota



A merit list will be created on the basis of the marks scored by the students in entrance exam. The declaration of results will be done only for the candidates who’ve qualified the exam. Based on the ranks of the candidates in the merit list, the allotment of seats will be done.
