The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) conducts a state level entrance exam called the COMEDK PGET Medical exam which aims to facilitate the admission procedure for postgraduate level medical and diploma courses offered by private medical and dental colleges in Karnataka. The selection of candidates for as many as 60 medical and dental seats will be done through this test.

The candidates applying for the examination must have a permanent registration with the medical council of India or with any recognized State Medical Council India (MCI). The applicants must also have completed the compulsory rotating internship by 30th April 2015.
The questions in the COMEDK PGET 2015 examination will be based on the syllabus prescribed by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Dental Council of India (DCI). The examination will be a paper-pen based test. Separate tests for PG Medical and PG Dental courses will be conducted. Both tests will have a total of 180 questions, all of which are multiple choice questions. The duration for the tests is 180 minutes. The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every right answer and no negative marking will be done.
The eligible candidates interested in appearing for the COMEDK PGET must visit the official website and fill the application form. The form has to be submitted online as well as a printed copy of the form has to be sent to the Executive Secretary-COMEDK along with all the relevant documents on before the due date. The candidates must also make the payment for the examination fee which can be done through a demand draft of INR 2250 drawn in favor of COMEDK payable at Bangalore.
The admit card can be downloaded by candidates from the official website of COMEDK from 16th January 2015, the admit cards for COMEDK PGET Medical exam will not be dispatched at postal address mentioned by candidates during the filling up of forms.
The declaration of results will only be done for the candidates who’ve qualified the entrance exam. The candidates belonging to the general category must score more than 50% to qualify and the candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC belonging to Karnataka state only) must score minimum 40% to qualify.
A merit list will created on the basis of the marks scored by the students in entrance exam. The declaration of results will be done only for the candidates who’ve qualified the exam. Based on the ranks of the candidates in the merit list, the allotment of seats will be done.
