The Assam Medical Common Entrance Exam (Assam Medical CEE) is a state level entrance examination that is conducted by the Dibrugarh University to facilitate the admission process to undergraduate level medical courses such as MBBS and BDS offered by the medical colleges in Assam and Regional Dental College, Guwahati. The selection of candidates for about 626 MBBS seats and for about 40 BDS seats will be done through this examination.

The candidates applying for the examination must have a citizenship of India and must also be a permanent resident of Assam. The candidates must have passed higher secondary examination with Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English as compulsory subjects. The candidates belonging to the general category must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/More other Backward Classes must have scored a minimum of 50% marks.

The duration of the Assam CEE medical will be 2 hours. The question paper will comprise of multiple choice questions. A total of 100 multiple choice questions will be there in each paper. The negative marking scheme will not be followed in this test.

Based on the declared results, a merit list shall be created and the shortlisting of candidates will be done through the merit list. The candidates will be selected and then allotted seats and colleges according to their ranks in the merit list.

The application process for the Assam CEE Medical will be done online. The candidates must visit the official website and then fill the application form. The candidates must also make the payment for the application fee for the MBBS and BDS course which is INR 1040.
