The 50% state quota seats for the MS, MS and other diploma courses offered by medical colleges in the state of Goa will be filled through the AIPGMEE 2015 exam. No separate entrance exam will be conducted to admit candidates to the post graduate level medical courses (state quota seats) offered by the medical colleges in Goa. The state Medical Council will use the merit list of the students from Goa for the admission process.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in the AIPGMEE 2015 exam for the academic year 2015.

To apply for the Goa PG Medical, the candidates must first apply to appear for the AIPGMEE 2015 exam. The state medical council will use the AIPGMEE 2015 scores to grant admissions to the postgraduate medical programs.

The candidates applying for the examination must have a permanent or provisional registration with the medical council of India or with any recognized State Medical Council India (MCI). The applicants must also have completed the compulsory rotating internship at the time of admissions.  The candidates must also hold an MBBS degree from a recognized University/Institution of Goa as a permanent resident.

The candidates must first appear in the AIPGMEE 2015 exam to be eligible for the admissions to the post graduate medical courses (state quota seats) offered at the medical colleges located in Goa. The candidates must score the qualifying marks in the entrance examination. The registration for the AIPMT 2015 exam will start from 1st December 2015 and the declaration of results will be done by 5th June 2015.

The State Medical Council of Goa will use the AIPGMEE 2015 score for the admission to the PG medical courses offered by it. A merit list will be created on the basis of the AIPGMEE 2015 results. The merit list will contain the names of the candidates who’ve qualified the entrance exam according to the ranks secured by them. The candidates will be called for the counseling process based on their ranks in the merit list.
