The HIHT University conducts a national level entrance exam called the HIHT University Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam (HIHT PGMEE) to facilitate the admission process to the postgraduate medical course offered by it.

The HIHT University offers MD, MS and various Diploma courses for which it conducts a national level entrance exam to select suitable candidates.

The candidates who want to apply for this examination must have passed MBBS from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The candidate must have also completed one year of compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March of the admission year. A permanent/provisional registration certificate must also be obtained by the candidates from the MCI or any State Medical council.

The HIHT PMEE exam will be of the duration of 180 minutes (3 hours). The question paper will consist of a total of 250 multiple choice questions. The questions will be from all subjects of MBBS curriculum. The candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The selection of the candidates will be done by the HIHT University on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam. The candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks to be considered for the admissions.  The University will shortlist the candidates on the basis of their scores and on the basis of the ranks, the candidates will be required to choose the subject of their choice.

The candidates can get the forms directly either from the University through the cash payment or a demand draft or from the official website. The application forms can be submitted online as well as offline. After filling the application forms, the candidates must send it to the HIHT University by post or submit it online. The payment for the application form can be done through online mode (credit card, debit card or net banking).

The admit cards for the eligible candidates will be uploaded on the official website. The candidates will not be sent the admit cards through post.
