The Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak Haryana, conducts a state level entrance exam called the Haryana Pre Medical Test (Haryana PMT) to facilitate the admission procedure for the undergraduate level medical courses which are MBBS and BDS offered in the private and government medical colleges across Haryana.
For the selection of candidates to the MBBS and BDS programs offered by various private and government medical colleges located in Haryana, Haryana Pre Medical Test (Haryana PMT) is conducted.

The candidates applying for Haryana PMT exam must have passed higher secondary examinations from a recognized board. The candidates must have also studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects in the higher secondary level and must have scored an aggregate of not less than 50% marks in the above mentioned subjects (40% for candidates belonging to the reserved categories). The candidates appearing for this examination must be a domicile of Haryana and must also be an Indian citizen. The candidates appearing for the Haryana Pre Medical Test should have attained 17 years of age and must not be older than 25 years as on 31st December 2015.
The questions that come in the Haryana PMT exam will be based on the syllabus prescribed in the higher secondary level examinations. The exam question paper will consist of a total of 180 questions all of which will be multiple choice questions. The paper will gauge the knowledge of the candidates in four subjects which are Physics, Chemistry Botany and Biology. 45 questions will be there from each section. The candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The application forms for the Haryana PMT 2015 will be available from the month of April/May 2015 (tentative). The candidates can get the application forms from the official website of MDU. The candidates must complete the application form and send it to the University along with a demand draft for the payment of the examination fee. The application form can also be obtained from the University office which will cost INR 1200.
The selection of candidates for the MBBS and BDS seats will be based on the performance of the candidates in the Haryana PMT 2015 entrance exam. Details for the same will be listed by the Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU).
