The Jamia Hamdard University will not hold a separate pre medical test for the selection of candidates to undergraduate medical courses i.e. MBBS and BUMS offered by it. The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the AIPMT 2015 result which will be conducted by the CBSE.

To apply for the medical courses offered by the Jamia Hamdard University, the candidates must first appear for the AIPMT 2015 conducted by the Central board of Secondary Education. The candidates after applying for the AIPMT 2015 must visit the official website of the Jamia Hamdard University and apply for the MBBS course.

The selection for the MBBS seats offered by Jamia Hamdard will be based on the results of the candidates in the AIPMT 2015 exam. The details about the AIPMT 2015 test are given below.

The candidates wanting to appear for this examination must have passed XII board examinations and must have also studied Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology. The candidates applying for the exam must have scored an aggregate of not less than 50%, the candidates belonging to the reserved categories should score above 40% marks. The candidates who are studying in XII are also eligible to apply for the examination. The candidates applying to appear for the examination must have attained 17 years as on 31st December 2015 and must not be more than 25 years as on 31st December 2015, the candidates belong to the reserved categories have a relaxation of 5 years. 

The syllabus prescribed by the CBSE will be the basis of the questions in the AIPMT exam. A total of 180 questions will be present in the question. The whole question paper carries 720 marks. The candidate will be awarded 4 marks for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The duration of the whole paper will be 3 hours. There will be four sections which are Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology and each section will consist of 45 multiple choice questions. 

The submission of applications can only be done through online mode. The payment of the application fee must also be made by the candidates, which can be done through Debit/Credit Card/Challan along with Service Tax as applicable.
