The Karnataka Religious & Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA) conducts a qualifying examination to facilitate the admission process for the undergraduate degree courses in medical and dental science programs offered by the member institutions of KRLMPCA in Karnataka state.

The candidates applying for KRLMPCA UG CET exam must have passed higher secondary examinations from a recognized board. The candidates must have also studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects in the higher secondary level and must have scored an aggregate of not less than 50% marks in the above mentioned subjects. The candidates appearing for the KRLMPCA UG CET exam should have attained 17 years of age and should not be older than 25 years of age as on 31st December 2015.

The KRLMPCA-UGCET is a paper-pencil based examination which will contain a total of 3 papers that are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each paper will have a total of 60 multiple choice questions. The total time given to the candidates to attempt each paper is 60 minutes (1 hour). The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every right answer and no negative marking will be done.

After the examination, the shortlisting of candidates and the allotment of seats for medical and dental courses will take place on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates. Rank list containing the names of candidates will be created by the examination conducting institution. 

The application form for the exam is made available on the official website of KRLMPCA. The candidates can visit the website and download the form and fill it. After filling up the form the candidates must send it to the admissions office along with the payment for the examination which can be done through drawing a demand draft of required amount. The details for the same can be found on the official website. 

The admit card for the KRLMPCA UGCET exam will not be sent by post to the candidates. To get the admit card the candidates must visit the official website of the association and download it.
