The selection of students for the 50% state quota seats in post graduate level dental course offered at the medical colleges in the state of Karnataka will be done on the basis of the AIPDMEE 2015 exam.

The AIPGMEE 2015 results will be the basis of the admission procedure to various postgraduate level dental program offered by the dental colleges in the state of Karnataka (as has been notified by the National Board of Education and AIIMS).

The candidates applying for the Karnataka PG Medical must be a citizen of India and must also have a BDS degree from a dental college recognized by the Dental Council of India and the Government of India, located in the state of Karnataka. The candidates applying must have an origin from the state of Karnataka. The candidates wishing to apply for the Karnataka PG Medical must first apply for the AIPDMEE 2015, as the admissions will be done on the basis of the AIPDMEE 2015 exam. The candidates must not be older than 45 years as on 31st March 2015.

The candidates wishing to apply for the Karnataka PG Medical must first visit the official website i.e. http://kea.kar.nic.in to download the application form. After filling the application form the candidates must submit it along with a demand draft of INR 1000 drawn in favour of Executive Director, KEA, payable at Bangalore, which has to be submitted at Karnataka Examinations Authority, Saimpage Road, 18th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bangalore- 560012.  

The shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of AIPDMEE 2015 exam. After the declaration of AIPMDEE 2015 results, the shortlisting procedure of the candidates who’ve applied for the Karnataka PG Dental will take place. The candidates who qualify the AIPGDEE 2015 exam will only be eligible for the Karnataka PG Medical.

The selection of the candidates will be totally based on the rank secured by the candidates in the state merit list.

The declaration of the AIPGDEE 2015 will be done on or before 15th January 2015. The declaration of results will only be done for the candidates who’ve qualified the AIPGDEE 2015 exam. The selection of candidates will be based on this result.

The exam pattern and the schedule for the AIPGDEE 2015 exam is stated below as the admissions will be based on the AIPGDEE 2015 exam.

 

Pattern:

The questions in the AIPGDEE exam will be based on the syllabus prescribed by the Graduate Medical Education Regulation. This exam will be a computer based test. The examination will consist of 300 questions, all of which will be multiple choice questions. The questions will be based on the subjects taught during the BDS course. The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every right answer and no negative marking will be done.
