The Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Haryana conducts a university level entrance exam called the Maharishi Markandeshwar University Common Entrance Test (MMU CET) to facilitate the admission process to MBBS and BDS courses offered by the University.
The selection of candidates for about 150 MBBS seats and 100 BDS seats is done through this test.

The candidates applying for MMU CET exam must have passed higher secondary examinations from a recognized board. The candidates must have also studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects in the higher secondary level and must have scored an aggregate of not less than 50% marks in the above mentioned subjects (45% for candidates with locomotive disability). The candidates appearing for the MMU CET exam should have attained 17 years of age as on 31st December 2015.
The MMU CET question will contain a total of 120 multiple choice questions. The questions will be from four subjects which are Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each of these four sections will consist a total of 30 questions. The question paper will carry 360 marks in all. The candidates will be awarded 3 marks for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The questions will be based on the syllabus prescribed in 11th and 12th standard examinations.
The candidates must fill the application forms very carefully. The application forms can be obtained from the administrative offices of the University. The candidates can send a demand draft of INR 950 to obtain the application form through post. The application form can also be downloaded from the official website of the university. The last date to submit the complete application forms is 30th April 2015.
The examination will be conducted on 31st May 2015 at six centers which are Delhi, Ambala, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Dehradun and Jaipur
The eligible candidates will be sent admit cards containing the details like candidate’s name, roll number and other exam related information through speed post or courier by the University. The distribution of the admit cards will be done before or on 18th May 2015 at the admission office at Mullana for the candidates who did not receive it through post.
The selection of candidates for the MBBS and BDS seats will be based on the performance of the candidates in the MMU CET 2015 entrance exam. Details for the same will be listed by the examination conducting authority.
