The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) conducts a state level entrance exam to facilitate the admission procedure for postgraduate medical course i.e. MD, MS, MDS and diploma programs.
The selection of candidates for the post graduate health sciences courses offered at various medical and dental colleges in the state of Jammu and Kashmir will be done through this test.

The candidates who want to apply for this examination must have passed MBBS from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The candidate must have also completed one year of compulsory rotating internship.
The examination paper for the J&K PGMET will be based on the syllabus studied during the undergraduate medical program. The questions will be multiple choice questions.
The application forms can be obtained by the candidates through online or offline modes. The candidates must make a payment for the application fee through a demand draft drawn in favour FA/CAO, the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations and payable at RCC, Jammu/Srinagar.
