An undergraduate level entrance examination called the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences. All India Common Entrance Test (PIMS AICET) is conducted by the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences to facilitate the admission process to MBBS and BDS courses offered by it.

PIMS AICET is a national level examination conducted to select suitable candidates for the MBBS and BDS programs offered by the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). Selection of candidates for about 125 MBBS seats and 100 BDS seats will be done through this test.

The candidates applying for PIMS AICET exam must have passed higher secondary examinations from a recognized Board. The candidates must have also studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects in the higher secondary level. A minimum aggregate of not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for reserved categories) must be scored by the candidates in the board exams.  The candidates appearing for this examination must have a citizenship of India.

The PIMS AICET EXAM will be based on the syllabus prescribed at the higher secondary level examination. The duration of the PIMS AICET exam will be of 3 hours. The PIMS AICET exam question paper will consist of a total of 200 questions which will be from subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every right answer and there will be no negative marking. Physics and Chemistry sections will have 50 questions each and Biology will have a total of 100 questions (Botany 50 and Zoology 50).

The candidates can obtain the application form for the PIMS AICET entrance exam through offline mode. The candidates must fill the application form and send it to the address mentioned below, along with a Demand Draft of required amount as the application fee. The application form will cost INR 500 and the fee for the entrance examination is INR 1500.

The application form will also consist of the admit card, which the candidates have to fill and send along with the application form to the University by post. The candidates will receive the complete admit card through post once considered eligible by the University. 

The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance exam. A merit list will be created on the basis of the results and the seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their ranks in the merit list.
