Sikkim PG Medical
The admissions for the academic year 2015, to the post graduate medical courses offered at the medical colleges located in the state of Sikkim will be done on the basis of the AIPGMEE 2015. The basis of admissions to the 50% state quota seats will be the AIPGMEE 2015 exam. The college will use the AIPGMEE 2015 scores to facilitate the admission procedure to MD/MS and other Diploma courses offered by the government medical colleges in the state of Sikkim.
The selection of candidates for the MD/MS and various
Diploma seats (50% state quota seats) in the government medical colleges
located in Sikkim will be done through the AIPGMEE 2015 exam which will be
conducted by the National Board of Education (NBE).

The candidates who want to apply for this examination must
have a citizenship of India and must also have passed the MBBS degree from a
college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI and the Government of
India. At the time of counseling, the
candidate must have also completed one year of compulsory rotating internship.
The candidates must have appeared for the AIPGMEE 2015 exam and should also
qualify it, to stand eligible for the MD/MS and diploma courses seats offered
in the state of Sikkim.
The exam pattern and the schedule for the AIPGMEE 2015 exam
is stated below as the admissions will be based on the AIPGMEE exam.
The questions in the AIPGMEE and exam will be based on the
syllabus prescribed by the Graduate Medical Education Regulation. This exam
will be a computer based test. The examination will consist of 300 questions,
all of which will be multiple choice questions. The questions will be based on
the subjects taught during the MBBS course. The candidates will be awarded 1
mark for every right answer and no negative marking will be done.
The candidates must note that only the candidates who appear
and qualify the AIPGMEE 2015 exam will be eligible for the admission process to
the MS/MD and Diploma courses offered at the government colleges in the state
of Sikkim. Therefore the candidates must first apply to appear in the AIPGMEE
2015 examination.
The candidates will be selected on basis of their
performance in the AIPGMEE 2015. A merit list will be created on the basis of
the scores secured by the candidates in the entrance exam. The ranks obtained
by the candidates will be the basis on which the candidates will be called for
the counseling process and the final allotment of seats.
