St John's MBBS
Every year St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences Bangalore conducts and entrance examination to facilitate the admission procedure for the MBBS course offered by it. The selection of candidates for about 60 MBBS seats offered by the college is done through the St. John’s MBBS entrance Exam.

The candidates applying to appear for this exam must have
completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of
admission. The candidates applying for the St. John’s MBBS Entrance exam must
have passed higher secondary examinations from a recognized Central or State
Board. The candidates must have also studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and
English as compulsory subjects in the higher secondary level. A minimum
aggregate of not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology must be
scored by the candidates in the board exams. The candidates belonging to the
SC/ST/Category must score a minimum of 40% marks in the above-mentioned
subjects.
The duration of the St. John’s MBBS entrance exam is 3
hours. The questions in the exam will be based on the syllabus prescribed in
Higher Secondary examination level. The
questions will be from five subjects which are Physics, Chemistry, Biology,
English and Values. The catholic students must have to answer few questions on
the Christian Doctrines from the catechism of the Catholic Church and the
Bible. The examination will be a computer based test.
The
candidates will find the application form by going online and visiting the
official website. The completely filled application forms must be submitted
along with the application fee by the candidates. The candidates must make the
payment for the application fee which is INR 1750 (INR 5000 for NRI candidates)
by drawing a demand draft of the required amount.
The declaration of results will be done on 14th
July 2015 which will be totally based on the performance of candidates in the
entrance exam and the observation test. The candidate’s performance during the
whole admission process will be counted by the examination authority.
