The Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam is a state level entrance examination conducted by the Government of Uttarakhand to facilitate the admission process to post graduate medical courses offered by the medical and dental colleges in the state of Uttarakhand.
The selection of the candidates for the post graduate health sciences courses like MD, MS, MDS and diploma courses offered at the medical and dental colleges located in the state of Uttarakhand will be done through this test.

The candidates who want to apply for this examination must have passed MBBS/BDS from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)/ Dental Council of India (DCI). The candidate must have also completed one year of compulsory rotating internship as on 31st March 2015. A permanent/provisional registration certificate must also be obtained by the candidates from the MCI/DCI or Uttarakhand Medical/Dental Council. The candidates applying for this examination must have an Indian citizenship,
Separate papers will be there for post graduate medical courses and post graduate dental program. Both the papers will have a total of 300 multiple choice questions. The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every right answer and no negative marking will be done in this test.
The candidates will have to score a minimum of 50% marks to qualify this examination (40% for SC/ST and OBC category and 45% for the persons with disability).
The candidates can get the application forms for the Uttarakhand PG MEE 2015 by visiting the official website. The application forms can also be obtained by the candidates through offline modes. the examination fee is INR 1000 (INR 500 for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH categories).
