Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) recognizes to be a self-directed agency present in India, who gained autonomy on the command of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Public Sector Banks in the year 1984. In 2011, IBPS announced a new procedure for recruitment, via Common Written Examination (CWE) for selection of Officers and Clerks in Indian banks. The exam is conducted on a national platform, providing a chance to every individual to try their luck.

Common Written Examination (CWE) is conducted online for providing best recruitment results on Clerical level. IBPS CWE has become compulsory for those who seek admissions and employment for the designation of Clerks / Probationary Officer / Management Trainee in Public Sector (PSB) and Regional Rural banks (RRB).

·         Age Limitation

Candidates’ date of birth must rely in between 20 years to 28 years, and relaxation will be applicable according to the reservation policy constructed by the government for SC, ST and OBC.

·         Educational Qualification

Candidates must be a graduate in any stream from a reputed university with analytic skills, personality development and basic computer knowledge. If any candidate has not studied computers as one of the subjects within school/college premises, candidate must secure a legit Diploma (basic applications) within the interface of Computers.

·         IBPS has launched Online Application Measure as one of the methods on the official website itself.

·         Online form must be filled accurately with every detail in accuracy.

·         Recent photograph and signature must be uploaded along with necessary documents by scanning.

·         Submit the form and do not forget to take a print out for future relevance.

·         Direct the filled in application with necessary documents to the provided address via Speed Post/Register Post:

After the form is filled, candidates are required to fill up the application fee via online mode only as offline mode has been discarded. The fee is payable via these modes of transfer:

(iv)              IMPS

(v)                Mobile Wallet

IBPS has brought a slightest change within the selection technique for Clerks V. There would be Two-Tier Examination held for recruitment for selection process of Clerks from CWE V. If registered successfully, candidates will be contacted for Preliminary Examination, and based on the performance in Preliminary Exams; selective candidates will proceed for Main Exam. Performance in both the exam will become the base for selection process.
