Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is granted as India’s Central Institution assigned to depart best Civil Services and Several Nationalized Services within best interface and qualitative approach. The agency’s contract has been assigned under the Constitution of India so as to provide Public Services on a broad platform. Civil Services Examination (Prelims) is a part of one of the competitive examinations held within India and totally organized under the guidelines of UPSC.

Union Public Service Commission aims at conducting Civil Services Preliminary Exams which serves as a common platform for candidates who want to apply for Civil Services Examination and Indian Forest Service Examination, and is regarded as an important exam so as to offer filtration for further Civil Services (Main) Examination and Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination.

·         Candidates must have acquired a graduation degree recognized from  reputed university/institute established under the jurisdiction of UGC or by Act of Parliament under section 3, Act, 1956.

·         A total of 4 attempts are offered to eligible candidates.

·         Candidates must belong from the provided nationality:

                                  i.            A citizen of India, or

                                 ii.            A subject of Nepal, or

                               iii.            A subject of Bhutan, or

                               iv.            A Tibetan refugee migrated to India before 1st January, 1962 for permanent settlement in India or

                                v.            A person of Indian source migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam for permanent settlement in India.

·         Age limit resides between 21-32 years of age as on 1st August 2015.

·         Total Marks: 400 (200 each)

·         Marking Scheme: 1/3rd Mark will be deducted for every wrong answer

·         All the details must be read carefully and all the relevant information must be filled with both personal and professional information being filled accurately.

·         Scanned photograph and signature must be uploaded within the mentioned criteria.

·         Fees must be paid as mentioned and a printout of the final application must be kept.
