MAH HM CET stands for Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET) is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). For admission to Four year degree program in Hotel Management & catering Technology (HMCT) in University Departments, Government institutes, and institutes approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

CONDUCTING BODY: Directorate of technical education.
Candidate must have passed HSC/Intermediate (10+2) examination with minimum 45% aggregate marks from Maharashtra State Board of secondary & higher secondary education Or equivalent examination in Commerce/Science/Arts/Home science with English as a compulsory subject or formal subject from a recognized university.
MAH HM CET Exam question paper contains only objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs). One question carry one mark and four options. There is no negative marking for incorrect answer. Duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
MAH HM CET contains following type of questions
· Reasoning (Verbal as well as Arithmetic)
· English Language
· General Awareness consisting questions on current national & international affairs, culture, trade & commerce, scientific inventions & discoveries, sports, travel and tourism etc.
Candidates who want to apply for this exam can apply online through the official website of Directorate of technical education (DTE). The Exam fee need to be paid through Demand draft or cash. The Fee structure for the Candidates of General category will be INR 700/- and for SC/ST category it will be INR 500/-.
NAH HM CET entrance exam conducted in the month of May each year. Date is to be announced.
