The Uttarakhand Technical University conducts an entrance examination called the Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam (UKSEE) for the admission of students to the post graduate program in computer applications offered by the colleges affiliated to the University.
The selection of candidates for the MCA program offered by the colleges affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) will be done through the Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam. The admission will be done for both first year as well as second year.

The candidates wishing to pursue MCA offered by the colleges affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University must have a graduation degree from a recognized Institution/University. The candidates applying for this entrance exam must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject till higher secondary level. The candidates must also have scored an aggregate of not less than 45% marks (40% marks is the minimum marks for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories).
The examination paper will contain multiple choice objective type questions. Equal weightage is given to each question and no negative marking will be done for the wrong answers.
The application form for the UKSEE 2015 exam will be made available from the month of April. The examination conducting authority will notify the details for the same very soon. The application fee for the examination is INR 1000 for the candidates belonging to the General/OBC category, INR 500 for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories. Additional 40 rupees will be charged for handling charges. The candidates must send the completely filled application form along with all the required documents to the address mentioned below.
The candidates will be selected on basis of their performance in the entrance exam. A merit list will be created on the basis of the scores secured by the candidates in the entrance exam for various courses. The ranks obtained by the candidates will be the basis on which the candidates will be called for the counseling process and the final allotment of seats.
