IPU CET BCA
The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers a three year undergraduate level program in computer applications (BCA). The University conducts an entrance exam to admit best suited candidates to this undergraduate program. This examination is called Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test for BCA (IPU CET BCA).
The common entrance test is conducted to screen and admit the best students into the BCA course. The examinations for all the courses will be conducted on 3rd May 2015 for the academic year 2015-16.

The candidates wishing to apply for the IPU CET BCA must have passed higher secondary level examinations with pass in English (core or elective or functional) from CBSE or any other recognized board. The candidates must have also studied Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Informatics Practice as compulsory subject at higher secondary level.
The common entrance test for the BCA will have questions from four subjects which are English Language and Comprehension, Mathematics, Computer Awareness and General Knowledge (IT and Science related). The candidates will be given a total of two and a half hours to attempt the whole paper.
The application forms can only be submitted through online mode and the candidates must visit the official website to do so. The candidates must also make the payment for the application form and the examination fee which is INR 750 plus service charge and taxes.
The admit card containing the details like the candidate’s name, roll number, and other examination related information will be made available online. The admit cards will be available before 7 days of the CET exam. The candidates can download the admit cards from the official website. The login id and the password would be needed by the candidates to download their admit cards.
The candidates will be selected on basis of their performance in the entrance exam. A merit list will be created on the basis of the scores secured by the candidates in the entrance exam for various courses. The ranks obtained by the candidates will be the basis on which the candidates will be called for the counseling process and the final allotment of seats.
